AtoZ Phlebotomy Attendance Policy

Welcome to the AtoZ Phlebotomy Training Course llC.
In order to ensure each student receives the maximum amount of in class instruction a strict attendance and guideline policy must be followed. Each student is required to be in the classroom a minimum five minutes prior to the start time of each class session.
When a student is not in class a minimum of five minutes prior to the start of the classroom session it is considered to be a sign of disrespect to the teaching staff and to your fellow students. The AtoZ Phlebotomy Training course is designed to provide each student the maximum amount of information in the shortest amount of time to enable each student the greatest opportunity to be proficient and confident upon completion of the training course.
AtoZ Phlebotomy Certified Training Course LLC cannot guarantee placement after completing our program.

Employment Barriers

  • Some employment barriers, including but not limited to criminal conviction, Medical Marijuana card. 

 

Attendance is Crucial 

  •  If a student has 2 unauthorized recorded absences, they will be dropped from the Phlebotomy Training course. (No Refund will be given.)
  • Unless a medical or family emergency Is presented to the instructor. 
  • Students are required to sign in before the beginning of every schedule class day.
  1.  Students must arrive to class no later than 05 minutes before class starts.
  2. Tardiness: A student will be considered as tardy if they are not in the classroom seated and ready to start class by 4:55 pm. The class door will be locked at 5pm, if the student arrives at 5:01pm or later they will not be allowed to enter the classroom.
  3. If a student misses a classroom session this will be recorded as an unauthorized Absence
  4. If a student has two unauthorized absences, they will be dropped from the class. No Refund will be given.
  5. If the student misses a Saturday class, the homework packet will not be accepted. You will receive a O for that chapter. This includes hand out sheets, puzzles, word searches etc.
  6. Students must not miss a Clinical or Skills day. These days cannot be made up. If a student miss 2 Clinical or Skills day, they will be dropped from the class. No refund will be given.
  7. Authorized Absence will be discussed between the instructor and the student. Make up hours will be the student's responsibility. You need 180 hours to Graduate.
  8. For any reason you are unable to attend class, or you are running late: you must contact the
    Instructors NOT another student. Mary 505-399-2797
  9.  All medical equipment and supplies will stay in the classroom, unless arrangements have
    been discussed with the instructor.
  10. All homework, worksheets, and handouts will be placed in your assignment folder. The
    assignment folder will be turned into the Instructor on Saturday at the beginning of class for
    that week. -----
  11. Any class work NOT turned in on Saturday morning will be considered incomplete and the
    student will receive a O for that section. No Exceptions. 
  12. All homework, test, handouts etc must include your First and Last name and the date it was
    given and the date it's due. Failure will result in a O INCOMPLETE
  13. All questions on test - Quizes- Handouts - Homework etc, must be answered. If any questions are left blank, you will receive a 0 INCOMPLETE
